North Raleigh, NC, is a flourishing community that is located within the city limits of Raleigh. It is one of the fastest growing areas of the city with numerous subdivisions being built as the city expands to the north. After all, Raleigh is recognized as a city that boasts of great jobs, wonderful recreational activities and a beautiful place to live.

Citizens refer to it as being north of the Interstate 40 line and south of the Interstate 540 line. There are numerous neighborhoods within the community that are thriving and offer plenty to individuals, couples and families, such as North Hills and North Ridge Country Club.
People who love to shop will discover that the North Hills Mall is an excellent mall to visit. Since its opening back in 1960, this mall has been providing excellent sales and deals to adults and children. There are practically 100 stores that have merchandise available each day of the week. Some of the stores include Target, Ethan Allen, Learning Express and REI. People who love to dine will find wonderful establishments, such as Panera Bread, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse and so much more. Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate a fitness center. There is a movie theater with 14 screens. The North Ridge Country Club is an excellent place to play golf. When in need of enjoying the wonders of creation, visit North Wake Landfill District Park. There are walking and hiking areas as well as a playground in this former landfill.
