The Beltline in Raleigh, North Carolina, refers to Interstate 440, which encircles the central section of Raleigh itself. The Beltline, which some refer to as the Cliff Benson Beltline, offers ease of travel to citizens who live within it. The community of Raleigh within the Beltline is dedicated to providing quality schools to each student. One popular school is Hunter Elementary School. There is an appropriate student to teacher ratio. Special focus is put on diversity and understanding cultural differences between students. The drama and arts programs that are available give students opportunities to create and experience various forms of art. Another popular school in the Beltline is Ligon Middle School. It is an excellent facility with dedicated staff. While academics and the arts are important, other activities that are stressed include band and sports. The Beltline features some historic homes and neighborhoods in Raleigh. A number of homeowners have spent time updating and renovating kitchens, master bedrooms and other rooms. Homes can be around the downtown area or around other districts that are smaller but are close to parks and schools. There is a wide variety of prices for homes within the Beltline because of the combination of older and newer homes in the area.

The North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences is a place of excitement and wonder that offers intrigue for adults and children. Each year, there are new exhibits that residents and visitors can experience. History enthusiasts will appreciate the North Carolina Museum of History. It focuses on a wide range of history that includes the Revolutionary War and the Civil War. John Chavis Memorial Park is a great park to visit. It is a recreational area that features a classic carousel that was built in 1937. There are ball fields, a swimming pool, playgrounds and a fun splash park.
